Where to next...

After a very busy week with school starting my week was no where near over. I still had TENNIS! This weekend my women's Combo team (a mix of 4.0 and 3.5 players) had our huge tournament. This tournament is for the advancement of your team to sectionals. No matter how amazing our team is each year we seem to hit a wall when it comes making it pass the finals.

We began the weekend with our first match on Friday. I ran home, changed, then headed to tennis. Thankfully we won all three lines! What a great start. Saturday we had 3 more matches. Our 9:30 match was a win...Then our 1:30 match was a win! Wow we are doing so great. Now for the 4:00 match. Man did we have to work hard for that one, but we WON! The match came down to a tie breaker...too much stress, glad it wasn't me. That leads us into Sunday. We had a bright and early match that morning! Can you guess what happened?

We took all 3 lines AGAIN! We were undefeated for our flight. This then lead us into the semifinals. Well the semifinals looked to be challenging. We were playing a pretty hard team (I mean they did make it this far too). No worries though.....we only had another painful tiebreak for the WIN! FINALS HERE WE COME!!!.

Yes, we are in the finals again. You see this seems to be the place we can always get to. The problem is waling away with the W. My partner and I landed the best draw of players yet. One of the ladies we played against had a "hurt" back. She tends to be a poor loser so we don't know the real story. However, we kicked their butts. Then it came down to our last match. These wonderful amazing ladies had to pull it out for our team to advance! They lost the 1st set, however won the 2nd set. TIE BREAKER, again!!! OMG no one should have to sit and be stressed out as much as we have been this weekend. These tiebreakers are killing us. THANK YOU Kim and Jeong for pulling out the win!

Oh Happy Day!!! We are going to Sectionals. Although it will not be a long trip (sectionals is in Dallas this year) it is one we are totally jazzed to take. Sectionals will be held October 16th through 18th . I can't wait it is going to be so amazing. I just know we will play our hearts out, even more than this weekend. Lets just hope we have less tiebreakers. Great job ladies we freaking ROCK!
