Fall Mini session

I love our photographer…not because she does amazing work, not because she is great with littles, not because she doesn't question my 4 outfit changes in 15 sessions. but because she loves mini sessions!  I know this may seem odd but I am all about minis and not full on sessions.  There are 2 reasons behind this 1) Chris would kill me if I asked him to take pictures more than 2 times a year (christmas and spring) 2) I really just want session of Miss H and minis are perfect!

Needless to say this min session is really for halloween costumes but I also do sneak in a few other outfits :-) Thanks to Ashley for letting me be that crazy mom.  If you live in our area I can't suggest her services enough! I can't wait to see our newborn session….eeekkkk

Here are a few of my favs from our session…always so hard to pick!  Seriously I can't get enough of these especially the last 2! My heart melts!!

I love her "owl" face

Happy 4th of July

Is it already July 4th??  I just can't get over how fast the year is going.  This year we were lucky to host the fourth at our house.  My mom, dad, sister and crew all came to town.  We had a blast.  I also helped host our first annual bike, wagon, stroller parade in the neighborhood.  I can't believe how many people we had show up.  It was so much fun mingling and letting the kids all ride!!  Hope your fourth was as great as ours.

Birthdays and travels

We always begin our Thanksgiving travels heading to my sisters!  This year my sweet mom and dad got to both go too!  Mom and dad came her and picked Miss H and I up for the drive to Abby's.  We had a nice little ride, shopping, talking, and enjoying the 2 line highway.  I will have to say it was so NICE not to be driving just H and I!  Driving with a baby and yourself is a just more work in all areas…planning potty breaks based upon a sleeping baby and such is no fun!  Sorry for the side track…

Poor mom though…she spent her BIRTHDAY in the car!  However, H and I were excited to share it with her, even in the car. B and Mom are one day apart on birthdays…that is fun!  Of course the reason we were going to the big EC is for B's 6th birthday!  OMG 6!!!  How do these kids keep growing? I am so sad.  I remember it like yesterday taking off from work and heading down to his birth.  Then spending the week there with them helping them settle into a family of 4…and now they are a family of 5! YIKES!!
Queen Tia with Baby G and Miss H …oh that cheese smile H has!
Needless to say we had a blast at my sisters house.  B had and plane themed birthday this year!  As always my sister was over the top for the party.  However, the weather wasn't so much how we would have like.  It was pretty cold for the party but the boys didn't seem to mind…the parents on the other hand did! Here are some pics from all the fun.  The boys got to decorate a plane then use it through out the party for different stunts and events.  It was a huge hit!!

Everyone enjoying their planes

Birthday Boy!!
More pics to come when my sister sends them…so check back!

After all the birthday fun Miss H and I had to say good bye..off to our next family fun.  We spend every Thanksgiving up in Minnesota with Chris' family.  The crew dropped us off at the airport Monday and away we went!!

Happy Halloween

(a few days late…)

Halloween was a blast for Miss H, mommy, and daddy this year.  I am pretty sure Miss H is going to think she can go to a festival every weekend…because we hit so many the past few days! Also she loves that they have jump jumps and I had to tell her they are all sleeping now…little dose she know they will never wake :-)

Daddy and H carved her first pumpkin.  I think daddy enjoyed it more…but H liked playing in the seeds.  It was a win win for all parties involved!

Miss H had 2 of her sweet friends come trick or treat with her.  It is funny because they are close in age but H is the only full on talker.  The three would walk up to the door.  H would knock then say trick or treat.  The other 2 girl would just follow along and hold out their hands for candy.  H was a little sad they were getting candy too as she wanted it all for her.  I loved watching these three walk up to each door it was so dang cute! I am so thankful we have sweet friends to share these fun holidays with.

Here are ton…WAY to many Pics from the week of events around our world!

Of course Winston had to come too…as a basketball player

Music and Treats!

This week our music class allowed the kiddos to wear costumes…but more importantly they let us take pictures.  We are only allowed pictures on the last day so this was big! Any ways the kids looked so dang cute! I loved seeing everyone in their costumes.

Here are our 4 close friends all decked out! LK and E are cousins they dressed up as Pebbles and Bam Bam, T our neighbor came as a cheerleader, and Miss H wore her octopus proudly.  She did however, have to ditch the "hat' in order to play the drums properly!

Daddy had to come check it all out too!

Miss H busy on the drum going to town! She loves music so much!!

This is my favorite one…typical picture with 4 kiddos under 2!!  But look at H's cute smile! HA HA HA

After music we came back home for a bit! Carrie and LK invited us to join them at the TCU halloween trick or treating.  We had to be well rested for the fun, lol.  What a blast it was too.  The kids got to trick or treat down the dorm halls.  The sweet little college girls all dressed up and decorated their whole hall.  Then they had games and crafts to enjoy!  Miss H had a blast with LK and E!! Can't wait to do it again next year.
A little pep talk before the big event!

Miss H trick or treating in the halls!
The kiddos picking out their pumpkin…we opted out on the painting part!

Miss H found her's!! An attempt to get them all together at the end! Love it!
