A DREAM....

of being a country dog! Winston loved spending time in the Big EC!!! When we first arrived he was a bit groggy from the car meds, but soon that wore off. Thankfully Bailey Dog was there to show Winston the ropes. Winston would just watch Bailey go out the doggy door and whine.....till Bailey came back in. Then a certain 17 month old (Little Monkey B) pulled up the doggy door, I guess to show Winston what was out there. By about mid day Winston knew how to come IN the doggy door, but on day 2 he was brave enough to go out as well.

That is when my sweet CITY dog when COUNTRY!!! There was no turning back, Winston was in and out all day long for the next 3 days. Thankfully he was just big enough not to squeeze out of my sisters nice iron rod fence. The amazingly huge back yard served Winston well...as he would just run and run all day. The only problem my CITY dog has is ANTS!!! It had recently rained, bringing up all the ants. Winston didn't realize that huge ant beds existed!!! A couple of times he had to be redirected before getting to close. Other than the ants, COUNTRY life suits Winston just fine. He loved it so much (and acted great) that Abby, Brian, and the kiddos want us to come back for all of July! I know we are good for 2 weeks....I just don't' think Chris would be to jazzed about a month....
