Happy Easter
Easter was a blast this year with Miss H. She kind of understood the hunting part more. She also loved seeing the goodies the Easter bunny left her. Miss H got her goodies on Easter morning, then did a small little hunt in the back yard. Since we got in at um 1 am the night before from our Minnesota trip we didn't make it to church.
However, we did make it over to Miss H's friends house for a small Easter brunch. Meredith and Trey are so sweet for inviting us in for Easter. The kids had a blast playing and hunting eggs. Lesson learned 15 eggs each for 3 2 year olds is a lot…next time we go smaller on our egg count. But boy did they have a blast running around and finding them, it just took a while! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with family and friends.

Easter fun...
Wow I am such a bad blogger these days! I can't believe I didn't blog about Easter yet! YIKES!!!
Let's look back. On the Saturday before Easter we went to a little hunt up the street at one of the elementary schools. Of course it had rained like crazy the night before causing it to be a muddy hunt. Miss H had a blast even with the mud, her mom not so excited about it! 2 of Chris' friends joined us and of course we had to go out and check on the house. We got to see the new drive way and all the flooring done.
Easter Sunday was pretty low key at our house. We headed out for church and lunch...then back to pack the house. Since we were moving in a week we had to get a start on it. Miss H got to enjoy her Easter basket goodies which was great. She loved them all!!

Miss H's first hunt
We were so excited when Miss H's friend LK invited her out to the TCU Easter Egg hunt. I have driven by this event before and it is pretty big. Imagine a field covered with eggs... TCU puts on a great hunt. The front lawn is covered in eggs and divided into ages (which is super nice).
Of course the weather had to go from beautiful to freezing cold the day before the hunt. Welcome to Texas right! Non the less we just bundled up and headed out. Miss H did a great job for her FIRST egg hunt ever. I of course had big plans to have her practice at home, but got too busy. We gave her a run down before the hunt...if you can imagine how that went with a 14 month old. It was like this "H see the "balls" go pick them up and put them in your basket! She of course kept signing and saying "ball" Ha so much for that! But in the end she did really good and got lots of "balls" or eggs as we know them.

We got a few pictures from the very chilly event!
