5 Question Friday!

Yes, I am joining in again with Mama M's 5QFriday!  I love that my tennis has OFFICIALLY been moved to Wednesday nights for various reasons.  *blogging *super tv show watching *happy hour with my old school girls.....oh I digress back to 5QFriday.  Here we go:

1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose?

I would donate to The National Alopecia Areata Foundation.  For those that are unaware of Alopecia you can find out more detailed information here. My sweet niece has Alopecia, it is where your body fights your hair follicles. Therefore your hair will not grow, or will grow but falls out frequently.  Thankfully my niece is not in the extreme cases and has less than 40% hair loss.  

2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt?

Well can I say...a love/hate relationship.  I personally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE snow days.  I love having a reason to sit at home and snuggle.  However, for work sake I hate that we have to make up our snow day on GOOD FRIDAY!  Yes, my school district uses Good Friday for a snow make up day.  If it were any other day then I would have a love/love relationship. 

3. What talent did you wish you had and why?

ummm....maybe not a talent, but I wish I had rhythm! Ha, I did Zumba the other day and realized I really am the most unrhythmic (is that a word?) person out there.  But that doesn't mean I wont keep going and acting like a FOOL! 

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie?

CELEBRITY JuKiE all the way!  I love all the gossip and DrAmA that goes along with celebs! Bring me an USWeekly, Intouch...or People any day PLEASE! 

5. What is your favorite "cocktail"? (Are you a beer person, a kiddie cocktail junkie, or perhaps your more the "Cosmo" kind?! Anything flies...doesn't haftabe alcoholic!)

well...my favorite "cocktail" is pretty simple really!  If you want to make my day you need to bring me a BiG'Ol SONIC Dr. Pepper!  Yeap...my weakness is Sonic Ice, Styrofoam cup, and Dr. Pepper! I know not as exciting as and "adult" beverage, but it is my Happy Place!!!

Mamma M's 5 Question Friday (yeah FRIDAY)

Here I am again able to enjoy a little 5 question friday from MAMA M'S site, since I don't have tennis on Thursday nights.  This week's questions are all about Christmas.  I am super jazzed especially since Chris and I get to start our own family Christmas traditions (now that we are married!).

1. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

My family has always opened presents on Christmas Day.  Chris' family does one gift Christmas Eve.  I think it would be fun for our tradition to be to open ONE gift on Christmas Eve....the gift always being a Christmas book and pj's for that night! 

2. What is your favorite Christmas cookie (or candy)?

Oh my favorite Christmas cookie is of course my grandma's sugar cookies that we make and frost the day prior. Mmmmm  I love them!

3. What's the worst Christmas gift you've ever received?

WOW that is tough!  I can't say that I have ever had a bad gift from my family or close friends.  However, being a school teacher I have had some CrAzY ones from kids.  My first year teaching (6 years ago) I got a nice GLASS ASHTRAY....and no I don't smoke.  The sweet boy said this is a candy tray for you!  I guess he didn't really notice the sides where you rest your smoke! HA

4. Christmas song that you love?

I love many songs but if your making me pick just one, I really like "Baby It's Cold Outside"

5. How many trees do you put up?

This year since our house is on the market...NONE, boo! However, normally we have the main Christmas tree that we decorate.  I have about 6-10 mini trees of various materials that I put around the house too.  I can't wait till we have a larger home so I can have full size trees for the kitchen, playroom, the baby's room...and oh so much more!

5 Question Friday!

Well normally I am unable to do 5 Question Friday because I have tennis on Thursday night.  Mama M puts the questions out on Thursday, which is wonderful.  This way you can write you post and then just link up on Friday morning!  Love the idea and honestly would love to do it more!  But as stated I have tennis on Thursday nights and am pooped by the time I get home!  However, this week we did tennis on Wednesday (which has screwed up my thinking all week....today at school I kept trying to make it Friday).

YIPPEE anyways on to the Questions!!!  Feel free to copy, paste, answer, blog, and link up at Mama M's

1. If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?

Wow, this is a very good questions.  Often I have wanted to be a fly on the wall in many different locations.  I would like to make note that I am picking 2 walls...sorry you will see why.  Recently I think if I could be a fly on the wall I would choose.....one of my students in class (can't mention the name).  I would love to have more insight on what happens at that house to make the student act out in such ways.  If only I knew more information I could really help that poor baby out!  

Now for fun.....I would love to hang out on the wall at the airport.  I just love to watch the people, but how fun would it be to hear it all too.  I mean you could take in so many different lifestyles and personalities.  I don't know just a random place I guess?  I did ask Chris and he said The Oval Office!  

2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?

In the past I have just bought the gifts and moved on.  However, this year I think it will be much different.  Now that Chris and I are married we have more people to cover and such.  I have tried to pin point our Christmas shopping ways, but Chris is not ready to think Christmas.  He better hurry up or I am shopping like normal...NO BUDGET!

3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?

Well um I can honestly say I have NEVER done a diet really.  I mean I have tried to watch what I eat but not a diet of any time.  However, from my last post you know what crazy diet I have been on recently...that's really no diet!!! 

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?

Oh just one TV show....YES YES YES!!!  I love am obsessed with CSI (the original).  I love CSI...I started watching it from the beginning when I was in college.  I can tell you that I have seen every episode (thanks to SPIKE who runs marathons often) and am proud of it!  Okay a couple of others that really dates me,  FULL HOUSE and SAVED BY THE BELL.  I loved those back in the day.  Actually there is the cutes little guy in another 2nd grade class that looks JUST like ZACK (and acts like him too)!! 

5. What one song always pulls at your heart?

I can't really pin point one (can you tell I hate picking JUST ONE).  Let's see I love RASCAL and they have few that can tug on me.  But any sweet song about a daughter and father really gets me, not sure why.  

Okay so after answering the 5 I have come to realize it is probably best I can't do this often.  I hate making decisions...or pick just one!  Plus you may not want to know these random things about me either!  HA Enjoy your FRIDAY, gosh knows it means the end to a very, very, very, very long week for me.
